Join us for a compelling and insightful session exploring real-world challenges faced by aging adults and their families. Scott Viscomi will walk us through complex case studies, including elder abuse, caregiver burnout, long-term care planning, cultural barriers, and conflict in blended families. Attendees will learn practical communication strategies, how to identify risks in vulnerable situations, and gain a deeper understanding of the personal and professional dynamics involved in supporting older adults.
We will also have a presentation for AEP designations for those who are qualified and interested to obtain this valuable designation in the world of Estate Planning.
Scott A. Viscomi - Speaker Biography
Scott currently serves as the Midwest Area Sales Manager for TheKey, the nation’s largest premium provider of private-duty home care. He leads strategic growth and relationship development across the Chicago, Milwaukee, and Michigan markets, helping thousands of seniors age safely and with dignity in their own homes. Under his leadership over the last five years, TheKey has significantly expanded its regional impact, particularly in addressing the complex care needs of aging individuals and their families.
With over two decades of senior executive experience, Scott has held leadership roles in healthcare, home care, and consumer sectors, including as President of North America for Train Alta, Managing Director Adida’s Combat Sports Divisions, and Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Alliance MMA, Inc, the first publicly traded MMA organization in history. He is recognized for building high-performing teams, forging mission-aligned partnerships, and driving measurable results.
Scott A. Viscomi was recently appointed as President of the newly constituted Lake East Chapter of the Illinois Continuity of Care Association, a statewide organization dedicated to fostering collaboration and advocacy among professionals who serve older adults and those with chronic care needs.
Scott earned his Executive MBA from Pepperdine University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from Jacksonville University. He brings to the Lake County Estate Planning Council a deep passion for senior advocacy,servant leadership, interprofessional collaboration, and community-based solutions.
